Please provide the amount of funding received from the government for the following tax years: 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23.

HSSIB does not hold this information. An explanation for this can be found below, as well as a contact email address for NHS England who will be able to assist further.
The timeframe for the request (20/21, 21/22 and 22/23) was a time when HSSIB was not in existence. HSSIB can only provide data from the 1st of October 2024 onwards as HSSIB is an independent arm's length body that came into existence on the 1st of October 2023.
The former body Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) was in place at the time in question and was hosted by NHS England. Therefore, funding data for the years requested will be held by NHS England.
