Sian Blanchard

Sian is a Chartered Psychologist and an experienced human factors specialist with professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society. She was awarded a fellowship for making an outstanding contribution to aviation safety.

Sian is interested in people and the systems that we work in and is keen to explore how different approaches to safety risk management could improve patient outcomes. She is an advocate for equality and inclusion and strongly believes that healthcare should be accessible and inclusive to everyone.

Sian has developed a diverse career in a range of industries including healthcare, defence, rail, and commercial aviation. She draws on her experience of other sectors to provide cross-industry insights to healthcare.
